Just before the deadline stipulated by the Adult Survivors of Sexual Violence Act in New York, a second unnamed woman sued him for sexual abuse. This law, enacted in May 2022, allowed people who were over 18 years old at the time of the alleged cases of abuse to file legal actions against their abusers, overcoming the legal barriers that often leave victims without options. Defenders of the law have called for an extension of the law or the repeal of the limitations. In this lawsuit, the victim claims that Diddy and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns raping her friend and herself in 1990 or 1991. The woman also claims that days later, Diddy attacked her again at the house where she was staying. “He was angry and began to attack and choke the woman to the point where she lost consciousness,” the document says. “Combs was looking for the woman’s friend because he was worried that she would tell the girl he was dating at the time about what he and Hall had done to them.” No representatives for the men responded to the request for comment.
