9. Attacks a coach at the University of California, Los Angeles, 2015
In June 2015, Combs became embroiled in yet another fight with University of California, Los Angeles coaching assistant Sal Alosi. TMZ reported that Combs was present during UCLA football practice where Alosi berated his son (and then-player), Justin Combs, saying, “I don’t care if your dad is here. “That’s UCLA and I’m going to treat you like anyone else.” After training, Combs and his son would have gone to Alosi’s office, where the rapper would have “grabbed” him. According to testimony, the rapper was forcibly removed from the scene and then threw a kettlebell at an intern. A spokesperson for Combs Enterprises said: “The various accounts of the event and the charges that have been brought are inaccurate. What we can say at the moment is that whatever actions Mr. Combs took were solely based on the nature of protecting himself and his son.” The Los Angeles prosecutor decided not to file personal injury charges against him.
