2. SSG (Pakistan)
In the 50’s, Pakistan decided it would sit on the big boy military table and created it’s own Special Forces as their counterpart of the Brits and Americans. With about 4,000 members, the SSG are the most prestige of the Pakistani military. And of course, it’s not easy making the cut, only 1 in 4 make it to graduation. Given the diverse landscape of Pakistan, recruits are trained in all types of terrains, from mountains, desserts, jungles and oceans. Recently, members of the SSG are alleged to have taken in counterterrorism operations, in and near the border of Pakistan
